# How can I get a new reading before the next scheduled measurement?
## You can start a new measurement by placing the sensor on its charger for a few seconds, then putting the bracelet back on.
The sensor bracelet measures your baby’s oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and skin temperature every 15 minutes. If you want a new reading before the next scheduled measurement, follow these steps:
1. Remove the sensor bracelet from your baby’s wrist.
2. Place the sensor on its charger for a few seconds.
3. Remove it from the charger and put the bracelet back on your baby’s wrist, ensuring it fits correctly against the skin.
This prompts the sensor to take new measurements and send the updated information to the app. Allow a little time for the measurements to be completed and displayed.
