Notifications will appear on the lock screen if enabled in your phone's settings and in the app. This means you can see important messages without unlocking your phone, for example when the screen is face up on your nightstand. Make sure that notifications from BabySensor are allowed on the lock screen in your phone's notification settings to make sure they appear.
