# BabySensor – Quick guide
## Everything you need to know before using BabySensor
**BabySensor – Quick Guide**
**1. Before Setup⚒️**
Remove the plastic from under the wristband sensor. Choose a wristband size. Fully charge the base and wristband for at least 1 hour before first use. Keep them plugged in during setup.
**2. Setup⚙️**
Start the setup from the room where your WiFi router is located.
Download the BabySensor app from Google Play or App Store, and follow the instructions in the app.
Allow all permission requests.
Leave the wristband in the base until instructed otherwise during the first connection. Make sure your phone, base, and router are using the same WiFi and password.
**3. Measurements ❤️**
Heart rate: every 20 seconds, detects changes early. SpO₂ and temperature: every 15 minutes, safe and sufficient for calm monitoring.
**4. Tip💡**
White noise and alert sounds share the same microphone. If you prefer audible alerts, turn off white noise.
